You can't get more "lesser known" than this young man who never saw me taking his picture for The Charlotte Observer. I only got one frame before the door swung open, and he picked up his luggage and got on the bus to Johnson City, Tennessee.

This is a copy of the print I made sometime in the Sixties in the Observer darkroom. We liked to print our best shots on Kodak Polycontrast Double-Weight paper, F Surface, dried matte, which gave the image a luster halfway between glossy and matte. If you could hold this print in your hands, you'd see what I'm talking about.
